Garden of Italy

Caserta Royal Palace, Caserta, Italy - May 2005. The garden inside the gates is a beautiful place to stroll and dream of the kings that strolled the paths so long ago. Statues were tucked into bushes and trees while grand fountains dominated over pools where goldfish swam. There weren't a lot of flowers about as you would expect a garden to have, but what was there was still beautiful.

wow, is there graphitti on the statues?
There sure is. All on the base of them. At least the people left their faces alone. If you look at the picture close, click on it to enlarge and then go to the left corner, a second enlarge button appears. Click on that and it blows up the picture full scale. You can see graffiti on the bases of these statues. It's so sad.
