Frutta e Vegetale
I went on a day tour today to the island of Procida which is right off the coast of Napoli. We left early and just before we got onto the ferry we passed by this fruit and vegetable stand and I loved the look. These stands are everywhere here and this is the way everyone buys there produce. This one is very well kept!

Are the vegtables different over there? Do they have everything we have over here?
The fruits and vegetables aren't any different over here. They have all the same things that Americans grow too. It's just different the way they sell them. There is produce in the grocery stores, but most Italians buy their produce from the stands like this one. Or they get it from the guy that drives around with it in the back of his microtruck. I posted a picture earlier of one of these vegie guys. Some of the trucks have loud speakers on them and like an icecream truck they drive around the neighborhoods announcing they are coming. So all the housewifes come running out waving euro for their goodies. hehehe.
