Towering Flag

The Flag of Pisa flys on top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I read that most of the towers in the area were destroyed in WWII by the US Army because of their potential risk of snipers. Pisa's tower was scheduled to be destroyed but was saved by a last minute retreat. Thank goodness.

really dig how you can still see some of the sky and clouds through the fabric of the flag.

I've never been able to catch a flag as it was blowing out that perfect...good catch.

Thanks, it took about two pics to catch it all the way out. It was pretty windy up there.
